Summarizing the Covenant Message

Welcome to a brief summarization of covenant message. I ask you to read this entire message before labeling it nonsense. Pray for the guidance and be ready with your bibles open.

To begin with, what is meant by the word covenant? A covenant is a forever promise between two parties. God made covenants with men, and along with those covenants God wanted there to be something that he and his people could look upon that would bring his covenants back to remembrance. For instance, when God set the rainbow in the sky, it was a token of his covenant with Noah (Genesis 9:16).

God made three covenants with Abraham (Genesis 15:18; 17:10; Hebrews 6:13-14), and he made two covenants with Moses (Exodus 31:16; Deuteronomy 29:1). God also made a covenant with Isaac (Genesis 17:21), and one with Jacob (Leviticus 26:42), and one with David (2Samuel 23:5), and there was a covenant for the priesthood which was given to Aaron (Number 18:19, Malachi 2:8). In all likelihood, God made a covenant with Islam and recorded it in the book of Isaiah (Isaiah 59:21). And Jesus Christ was given for a covenant (Isaiah 42:6). Along with all these covenants, God delivered a promise: “I will establish my covenant with you (Genesis 17:7; Leviticus 26:9; Ezekiel 16:62).”

The blood of Jesus Christ is the promised establishment of all these covenants (Colossians 1:20; Hebrews 10:29; 13:20). In other words, God made the blood of Jesus Christ his reminder, so that when he looks upon Jesus' blood, the blood of one spotless lamb, he remembers all the covenants that he made with Abraham, and with his children (2Corinthians 5:18).

God made all these covenants knowing that they would generate the Islamic, Jewish, and Christian faiths. God also promised that in the last days he would unite his people into one everlasting covenant (Jeremiah 32:39-40; Hosea 2:18). Religion raised up certain scripture verses that men set up as rules to govern salvation, but scripture verses can be misinterpreted, and misrepresented. God triumphed over man's mistakes by basing salvation upon covenants (Jeremiah 11:3). Yes, Jesus said, "I am the way," and his life does show believers the way to inherit eternal salvation, but in order for Christians to champion that Christ is the only way, they must ignore that God testified that his own hand has the power to save (Isaiah 59:1). It is a lie to think that Jesus Christ or his teachings could obsolete any of the truths which are written in the old testament (Matthew 5:17).

God upholds all the covenants that he ever made, even the covenant of circumcision which confirms that persons of the Jewish and Islamic faiths are his sons and daughters (Genesis 17:25). Persons of these faiths bare evidence in their flesh that they belong to God (Jeremiah 31:1; Isaiah 13:2).

Scripture reveals that God calls himself by various names (Psalm 68:4; 83:18). Muslim's call him Allah because their forefathers disobeyed the Lord, and God swore against them saying that his name, "the Lord God liveth" would no longer be named in their mouths (Jeremiah 44:26). But God, in his mercy, also testified that the children of the rebellious would not be held accountable for the mistakes of their fathers (Ezekiel chapter 18:14-17). Would God, who calls himself by various names, take offense at being called Allah?

Why is radical Islam so violent? As is the case of believers in every faith, Islamic teachers have been misrepresenting and misinterpreting God's word, and Muslim believers are being deceived into believing inaccurate representations of God's word (Jeremiah 9:26). A unique challenge which is facing Islam, is that Muslims have not known the perfecting teachings of Jesus Christ, nor have they ever eye witnessed the disciplining evidences of God that Israel was made to suffer as she was guided through the wilderness for forty years (Jeremiah 48:11). During end times converting every believer and changing their mindset is not optional: every religion is going to have its laws overturned by God, and this includes the laws of the radicals of Islam (Ezekiel 21:27; Obadiah 8). Nevertheless, a remnant from every religion will escape God's judgments (Jeremiah 44:28).
