“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me.” This is a scriptural truth, therefore it cannot be changed: In other words, It is impossible for the day of vengeance to come before God hath sent forth a messenger unto his people. This messenger will deliver a new covenant, along with new revelations from God’s word. Could I be this messenger? When I saw what was happening in Washington DC, and considered the evidences of it in prophecy, I made a prediction. The evidence which I saw caused me to conclude that God would fulfill his promise to pour out his vengeance upon the wicked, at noon, before President Trump’s impeachment trial was over, and the votes were cast. I felt safe making this prediction, because I saw the signs of his coming happening before my eyes, and I thought that maybe God would use my prediction as way of approving and establishing the covenant message. Instead, God humbled me, and caused me to know how it feels to speak presumptuously. I pray that my actions do not become a stumbling block for the people of iniquity.
“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).” “Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appeareth? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord (Malachi 3:1-4).”
“There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (Matthew 10:26-27).”
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him... And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him (Deuteronomy 18:18-22).”
“Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior. I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it (Isaiah 43:10-13).”
“I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure... yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it (Isaiah 46:9-11).”
All praise, and glory be unto the Lord our God, for he has laid bare the mystery which was kept hidden since the foundation of the world! The scriptures contain an overwhelming flood of evidence which supports the understandings that have been brought forth in the covenant message. However, since much of the evidence was designed to be hidden, believers cannot see it until they acknowledge God’s parable use of words. God chose out beneficial names and key words, and planted them in prophecy. This was done in order to create confusion and preserve end time understanding. God caused these parable words to represent groups of individuals which have some sort of quality, or connection in common, even with the past. That common quality is the word’s definition. When a believer discovers the definition of a parable word, it causes every prophetic verse of scripture containing that word, to make sense. In order to save time, here are the definitions of a few frequently used parable words. The parable name, “Judah” pertains to God’s priesthood; the parable name, “Israel” pertains to all other believers, even the backslidden; the parable name “David” pertains to anointed believers; the parable name “Jacob” represents believers who have seen the truth of God’s word; the parable name, “Jerusalem,” represents sanctuaries, or other places wherein God’s people assemble themselves together for worship; and the parable name “Zion” represents a peaceable habitation, wherein God intends to dwell among his anointed and obedient followers.
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness (Jeremiah 33:14-16).”
“The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah (Zechariah 12:7).”
“Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else. I have not spoken in secret, in the dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray to a god that cannot save. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? Who hath told it from that time? Have not I the Lord? And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else (Isaiah 45:17-22).”
“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord. And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent unto thee (Zechariah 2:10-11).”
I began writing the covenant message in February of two thousand and ten. Shortly after I began to write, the Lord gave me the words of a covenant. After spending much time studying God’s word, I was able to find out with evidence that the covenant which God had given me, was our long awaited new covenant: this covenant is meant for all of the seed of faithful Abraham: in other words, it’s for Muslims, as well as the Jews, and Christians, alike. “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me.” These are Jesus’ words: they are found in the book of Matthew, in the eleventh chapter, and the twenty ninth verse. And these are the words of our new covenant. This covenant is already making a difference in the world, and it will positively, absolutely be proclaimed. Here again, in order to see the evidence of this, it is necessary to receive a few definitions of some parable words: the word, “east” pertains to people of the Islamic faith; the word “west” pertains to people of the Christian faith; (people of the Jewish faith were to remain in the the middle, for God told them not to go to the left, or to the right); the word “north” pertains to backslidden believers; and the parable word “south” pertains to the priesthood.
“I will bring thy seed for the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth... Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth (Isaiah 43:5-9).”
“Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets... for before these days there was no... peace... for I set all men every one against his neighbor. But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days... The heavens shall give their dew... and it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong... These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord (from Zechariah 8:7-17).”
“I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one is in bitterness for his firstborn (Zachariah 12:10).”
“And in that day will I make a covenant for them... and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely (Hosea 2:18).” “The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it... If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it (Psalm 132:11-14).”
All of the parable word definitions which are listed above, have at one time or another been proven, with evidence, in the covenant messages. But let me demonstrate what it looks like to prove the definition of a parable word. Take the parable word “Ephraim” which pertains to people of the Christian faith. God called Ephraim his firstborn son (Jeremiah 31:9; 31:20), as well as the strength of his head (Psalm 60:7). But Ephraim was the name of Joseph’s second born son (Genesis 41:52). The Apostle Paul concluded that people who have the Holy Spirit, and are being conformed into the image of God’s son, are the firstborn. “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among may brethren (Romans 8:29).”
“The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid. The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children (Hosea 13:12-13).”
Acknowledgment of the new covenant is not optional. Trying to change the narratives of every religious person in the world is a monumental task, which is why every believer has work to do: for the whole world must know that God has delivered his people a new covenant. The fashion of this world is coming to an end, for God is ushering in a new day wherein everyone will be aware of the Lord’s existence, and everyone will have equal access to the Holy Spirit: which is the power of the world to come. As for the work which still needs to accomplished: God is with those who are working in agreement with his prophesied end time message, and he will help them. He will afflict any, and everyone, is that working against the fulfillment of his word, and he will continue to increase their afflictions until the day of his wrath. But if they still refuse to obey him, in the day of God’s wrath, they will be destroyed together with the people who have ignored his instructions.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).” “The fashion of this world passeth away (1Corinthians 7:31).” “The harvest is the end of the world (Matthew 13:39).” Those who were enlightened, and are partaking in the Holy Ghost, have tasted, “the powers of the world to come (Hebrews 6:5).”
“If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses... Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed... because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God. And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and bring you to nought (Deuteronomy 28:58-63).”
“If ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. And I will break the pride of your power (Leviticus 26:18-19).”
“For I the Lord love judgment... I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them... all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed... For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations (Isaiah 61:8-11).”
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed (Amos 3:3)?” “Ye are of nothing, and a work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you (Isaiah 41:24).” “Lying lips are abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 12:22).”
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? ...I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise (Isaiah 43:18-21).”
“Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart fo fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore (Psalm 86:11-12).”
The day of vengeance was in God’s heart from the foundation of the world: for God hath promised it to his people. The terribleness of his vengeance (which is the sound of the trumpet), is a sacrifice that God will make in order to strengthen his people: for it is purposed to cause the leaders of God’s people to tell their congregations the truths which are necessary to bring about the fulfillment of his word. The sound of the trumpet will awaken the people who have forsaken God, and their fears will bring them back into the Lord’s house; that they too might consider the Lord’s ways, and hearken to his word, and do according to his will. Fear not! Did not God deliver Moses and the Israelite people from the Egyptians? And did he not deliver King Jehoshaphat, and all of Judah from Moab and Ammon? These things are recorded for our edification. We have God’s sworn promise, and his testimony, saying that he will defend and deliver his people.
“The day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come (Isaiah 63:4).” “Is not destruction to the wicked? And a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity (Job 31:3)?” “I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard (Micah 5:15).” “The Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies (Nahum 1:2).”
“For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy savior: I gave Egypt for thy ransom... Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. Fear not: for I am with thee (Isaiah 43:3-5).”
“The afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down (2Samuel 22:28).” “Call upon me in the day of trouble: and I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me (Psalm 50:15).” “He shall deliver the island of the innocent: it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands (Job 22:30).” “O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer (Psalm 31:23).”
“Your eyes have seen what the Lord did because of Baal-peor: for all the men that followed Baal-peor, the Lord thy God hath destroyed them from among you (Deuteronomy 4:3).”
“I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress...and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear me not, saith the Lord (Malachi 3:5).”
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (Isaiah 2:2-3).”
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged: because of the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. The multitude of... Midian and Ephah, all they from Sheba shall come... and they shall show forth the praises of the Lord... They shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory (from Isaiah 60:1-7).”
God elected to call the day of his vengeance by several different names, including the day of the trumpet: but are you aware that he also called it the day of salvation? The Bible contains four Hebrew words which were each translated into the word, “salvation.” In certain instances those same words were translated into the word “deliverance”. The interchangeability of this word seemingly suggests that the day of salvation, is so named, because God is using the destruction of the wicked to deliver his people from religious bondage. God is our savior, and our deliverer, for it is through his word, which includes the prophesied promise to bring about the day of his wrath, that all people will be delivered from the hand of their religious authorites. This section of evidence begins by considering a time of deliverance which took place back in Moses’ day: remember that everything that has happened, will happen again: and true life accounts were recorded, that they might be used as a pattern to increase our understanding.
“Thus the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; And Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. And Israel saw that great work which the Lord did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord, and his servant Moses (Exodus 14:30-31).”
“Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in the day of salvation have I helped thee: I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; that thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; and to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves... And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted. Behold, these shall come from far: and , lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim. Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted (Isaiah 49:8-13).”
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth... Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God (Isaiah 52:7-10).”
The people who perceive and understand the truth of God’s end time message, need to know that their testimonies are urgently needed: for God has informed his people, saying, that a bitter, hasty, nation will be coming against religion. For this reason it is imperative to go forth and bring anyone who willing to come, into a place worship wherein they can learn the truth about end times. For the so called, nation of the Chaldeans, is actually an army of believers, and they will come from the north, which means that they are dismissing the importance of God’s word. Scripture reports that this hasty, and bitter group of people will be using violence of a means of accomplishing their desire to make converts. They are the noisome pestilence, and the strange punishment that is prophesied to overwhelm those who are relying upon mistaken religious beliefs for their end time understanding. They will come for the destruction of religion. The religious people who haven’t yet heard God’s end time message, will despise it, if it’s coming at them from the mouths of destructive radicals. This group of prideful believers will have respect for a prophet of the east, whom the Lord hath chosen and raised up for his own purposes, and for his own glory. The parable word “east” indicates that this consequential man was born in the Islamic faith. But regardless of this prophet’s devotion to the Lord, many of his followers have not been perfected in Christ. Take President Donald J. Trump and his supporters as an example: Not all of them were insurrectionists.
“Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction (Jeremiah 4:6).”
“Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land. For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the Lord; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem... And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me (Jeremiah 1:14-16).”
“Behold... I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves... They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand (Habakkuk 1:5-9).”
“The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion (Psalm 20:1-2).”
“Give ear to my prayer, O God... attend to me, and hear me... because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me. My heart is sore pained within me... and horror hath overwhelmed me... Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city... God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant (from Psalm 55).”
“Hear my prayer, O God, give ear to the words of my mouth. For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Behold, God is my helper... He will reward evil to mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth... I will praise thy name, O Lord, for it is good (Psalm 54:2-6).”
“Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Hearken unto me, ye stout hearted, that are far from righteousness: I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory (Isaiah 46:11-13).”
“I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the Lord of hosts (Isaiah 45:13).”
“Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! For we are spoiled. O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall vain thoughts lodge within thee? ...Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah. As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the Lord (Jeremiah 4:13-17).”
“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand (Joel 2:1).” “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins (Isaiah 58:1).”
Believers who choose to deliberately ignore the word of the Lord in order to remain loyal to their religious beliefs, are collectively grouped under the parable name, of Babylon.
“Remove out of the midst of Babylon... For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken (Jeremiah 50:8-9).”
“We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her... for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies (Jeremiah 51:9).”
Those who are vilely coming against Babylon have ignored God’s instructions, and they are doing things which are contrary to his word. So when they have finished spoiling the people who are still practicing religion, then the Lord will rebuke them. Once again, use the insurrectionists at the capitol building for an example: their motives may have been pure, but their ways were wicked, and they had to pay the price. For the sin of their wicked ways, the Chaldeans are in danger of being destroyed in God’s wrath: because they have no changes. God’s people can help this prideful group of believers by sharing God’s instructions with them, and by impressing upon them their need to read the New Testament, for it is their new covenant.
“The servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will (2Timothy 2:24-26).”
“Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee (Isaiah 33:1).”
“Go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans... Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, saith the Lord. Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O destroyers of mine heritage... Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed... because of the wrath of the Lord (from Jeremiah 50:8-13).”
“Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgresses against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers... and ye have not obeyed my voice... Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: and I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:12-15).”
The entire thirty first chapter of the book of Jeremiah is a prophetic message that is bursting with truths, and is loaded with proofs which are meant for end time understanding. The introduction of the chapter declares that on the day when God arises to give rest unto his people, all of the different religions of Israel shall be his people. Immediately following his opening remarks, God testified of his everlasting love for his people; then announced that in the last days he will draw his people near unto him through the loving kindnesses of his word; and then he reassured his people saying that the house of Zion shall be established, for God himself shall build the house.
“At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest (Jeremiah 31:1-2).”
“Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry... For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the Lord our God. For thus saith the Lord; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel (from Jeremiah 31:3-7).”
The next segment of the prophetic message briefly mentions the sorrowfulness of God’s people, but ultimately it is a rejoicing section, for it lists the many ways in which God will comfort, and bless, and have mercy upon his people: after his vengeance has been poured out.
“A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Thus saith the Lord; refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears; for thy work shall be rewarded (Jeremiah 31:15-16).”
The Lord will save and deliver many people, who had forgotten him.
“Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame... a great company shall return hither (Jeremiah 31:8).”
God will be leading his people.
“They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn (Jeremiah 31:9).”
The Lord will gather and restore all believers who were separated from loved ones, due to unyielding attitudes, and the conflicting philosophies of end times: and they will return.
“Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock... and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border (Jeremiah 31:10; 31:17).”
And God will restore satisfaction in the Lord, and will bless his people with comfort and joy.
“Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord... Their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall sorrow no more at all... for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord (from Jeremiah 31:12-14).”
Within the blessings section of the prophecy, are the words “redeemed” and “ransomed.” We need to know more about these words: for there is a deeper meaning to them than was originally reported, and has been accepted, and taught. Redemption has to do with God paying a price in order to create an awareness of him, so that he might deliver his people from the power of the grave: for in death the soul ceaseth for ever (Psalm 49:8). Think of it this way; God made a covenant, which is kind of like making a deal with mankind. God told his people that if they would obey his voice, and keep his commandments, (that was man’s part of the deal): then, (according to God’s part of the deal), God would bless the people who kept their end of the bargain, so that all people of the earth would see that they were called by the Lord’s name, and they would be afraid of them (Deuteronomy 28:10). Unfortunately, too many believers slacked off on their end of the bargain. So God devised a plan called redemption, which is purposed to cause his people to return to him. Whether it be the death of a man, (Jesus), or the death of a nation, (the Egyptians), God loved his people, so much so that he slew some of his own people, that many other people might fear him, and might return to him.
Jesus told his followers that when they began to see end time signs happening, they should look up, for their redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28). In the Old Testament, it is written that Zion shall be redeemed with judgment (Isaiah 1:27). So consider this: Has not the covenant message been revealing and declaring the Judgments of our God? And is not the day of his vengeance one of God’s judgments? Therefore the destruction of the wicked and the punishments of the workers of iniquity, are for redemption. When the multitudes see death and destruction, they will fear God, and many of them will return to the Lord, and they will do according to his word: and that’s what redemption is all about.
“Therefore thus saith the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale (Isaiah 29:22).” “For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he (Jeremiah 31:11).”
“The redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: and they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away (Isaiah 51:11).”
“Because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt (Deuteronomy 7:8).”
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1Corinthians 1:30).”
The word “ransom” has to do with God’s servants, especially the prophets, who paid the high cost of sacrificing everything, in order to bring all the Lord’s followers into the kingdom of God, or at least, as many as they could possibly bring.
“If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness: Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom (Job 33:23-24).”
“What shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of GIdeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae, of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, and stopped the mouths of lions... (Of whom the world was not worthy)... And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect (from Hebrews 11:32-40).”
“Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord... Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon? Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion (Isaiah 51:9-10).”
“And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away (Isaiah 35:10).”
“For there is... one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time (1Timothy 2:5-6).” “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many (Mark 10:45)”
“For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honorable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I gave men for thee, and people for thy life (Isaiah 43:3-4).”
“I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes (Hosea 13:14).”
Now back to the thirty first chapter of the book of Jeremiah: this chapter supplied truths which were necessary to the development of the covenant message. Evidence from this chapter verifies that the parable name “Ephraim” represents people of the Christian faith, and evidence from this chapter verifies that a woman would bring forth the covenant message. This chapter also discloses Christianity’s reaction to God’s end time plan; and it celebrates the glory of God giving his people a new covenant, and testifies that it will be an everlasting covenant which shall never pass away.
“Ephraim is my firstborn... I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God. Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord (Jeremiah 31:9; Jeremiah 31:18-20).”
“How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? For the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall lead a man (Jeremiah 31:22).”
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and will write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people (Jeremiah 31:31-33).”
“Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me... then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the Lord; If the heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, Saith the Lord (Jeremiah 31:35-37).”
